Joel has over 20 years experience serving the financial needs of families. He works to help clients personally define what financial independence means to them. Joel believes these discussions help lay the foundation for building a comprehensive, holistic plan.
Joel honed this approach in his previous position leading the wealth management team at Trust Company of Illinois. Joel works with business owners, professionals, and retirees who are looking for ways to protect and maintain their financial independence.
Joel graduated from DePauw University with a B.A. in Economics and has maintained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification since 2000. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the DuPage Estate Planning Council.
A big believer in giving back to the community, Joel enjoys volunteering his time to numerous community organizations such as: First Congregational Church of Glen Ellyn, Wheaton Lions Club, B.R. Ryall YMCA of Northwestern DuPage County, and Common Hope.
Joel is an avid skier, an old soccer player, and a frustrated golfer who enjoys spending time with his kids.
