The through line in my career, across a lot of different industries and roles, has always been the same: finding the best way to help the people I work with. That consistency is what drew me to this role, and it's what keeps me engaged in it every day.
Since joining Black Diamond Planners in 2015, I've served as the primary relationship point for our clients. That means being a consistent, accessible presence, whether someone needs help organizing their full financial picture, working through an important life transition, or simply getting a straightforward answer to a question. Alongside the client-facing work, I also oversee administrative operations, support compliance and IT initiatives, and contribute to our marketing efforts. I find that having a broad view of how the firm runs makes me a more effective resource for the people we serve.
Before joining the firm, my career covered a wide range of industries, including law, healthcare, construction, and finance, with experience across management, sales, technology, and customer service. I graduated from Loyola University of Chicago. Whatever the context, the work I found most rewarding was always the work that involved helping someone else succeed.
Outside the office, my world revolves around my husband and our three thriving young adults. A perfect day usually involves being on a boat in Michigan. I also volunteer at the Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry, love exploring new places, and make time for friends and family whenever I can.
