I first connected with Brandy Harrington through an undergraduate scholarship I received from the Zonta Club of St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia. That relationship led to an opportunity to join Black Diamond Planners as an intern in June 2022. In August 2024, I moved into a full-time role as a Financial Paraplanner.
My passion has always been helping people, and I’m grateful to do that every day by supporting clients in getting their financial house in perfect order. I assist our advisors in organizing financial information and developing detailed, personalized plans that align with each client’s goals.
I earned my Associate in Arts Degree from Elgin Community College in August 2024 and completed the Foundations in Financial Planning course in January 2025, earning the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®) designation. I’m committed to continuing my education to provide the best possible service and stay current in a constantly evolving field.
Outside of work, I stay involved in my community through my local church, where I contribute both financially and with my time to outreach and service projects. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, watching movies, reading across genres, attending concerts—particularly when it’s a show by my favorite bands and singers—and exploring new places on road trips with my husband, family, and friends.
