My connection to Black Diamond Planners started before I ever worked here. I received an undergraduate scholarship from the Zonta Club of St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, which is how I first met Brandy Harrington. That relationship eventually led to an internship with the firm in June 2022, and in August 2024, I moved into a full-time role as a Paraplanner.
In this role, I support our advisors by organizing financial information and helping develop detailed, personalized plans that reflect each client's goals. The work is a good fit for me because it combines the technical side of financial planning with something I've always cared about: helping people get their financial lives in better order.
I earned my Associate in Arts Degree from Elgin Community College in August 2024 and completed the Foundations in Financial Planning course in January 2025, earning the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®) designation. I plan to keep building on that foundation as the field continues to evolve.
Outside of work, I'm involved in my local church, where I contribute both financially and with my time to outreach and service projects. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, watching movies, reading across genres, going to concerts (especially when my favorite artists are on the bill), and taking road trips with my family and friends.
