Two chapters of my career look different on the surface but share the same core: helping people understand something important and make better decisions because of it. I spent time teaching abroad and then worked in lending in the Chicagoland area, guiding families through the mortgage process. In both cases, the most meaningful part of the work was the moment someone left a conversation more informed than when they arrived.
That through line is what led me to Black Diamond Planners in 2024, where I now serve as a Paraplanner. In this role, I work closely with our advisors by conducting research, preparing in-depth analysis, and producing strategic reports that free them up to focus fully on clients. I hold the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®) designation and am committed to continuing to grow in this field. Financial planning, at its core, is about people and priorities, and I find the supporting work genuinely meaningful.
Outside the office, I spend a lot of time with my twin sister, brother-in-law, and their two daughters, often in the kitchen attempting to recreate dishes inspired by Master Chef. I'm also passionate about animal advocacy and love going on adventures with my dog, Ajax, who has developed strong opinions about being included in the family cooking sessions.
